 
The National Conference on Emergency and Trauma Nursing (NCETN-2024) held at JIPMER, Puducherry, was a comprehensive 3-day event to address critical issues in emergency and trauma nursing. The event took place from October 16 to 18, 2024. It included various activities such as pre-conference workshops, a Trauma Quiz 2024, paper and poster presentations, and a Resiliwalk 2024 to mark World Trauma Day. The main
conference, held in the last two days, attracted various participants from the field of nursing. A group of students and a faculty member from Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, MGMCRI-SBV, attended as delegates. This group consisted of 32 students, including those from the B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing programs, along with Ms. Abinaya P, a Tutor in the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing. Notably, students from the M.Sc. Nursing 1st- year (2024-2025 batch) secured 4th place in the Battle of the Brains Trauma Quiz – 2024, while Ms. Abinaya P received 13 credit hours from the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC).The event showcased a strong academic and practical engagement with trauma care, reinforcing the participants 39; knowledge and skills in emergency nursing.
