Red Ribbon Club of Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College has conducted various events like Role Play, Health Talk & Video Show in commemoration of World AIDS Day 2020 from 2.12.2020 to 13.12.2020. On 02/12/2020 M.Sc. (N) I year students had shown a video and given a Health Talk on the theme HIV/AIDS: Avoid Poignant during Pregnancy” in Antenatal OPD, MGMCRI. Totally 25 antenatal mothers got benefited through this programme. On 04.12.2020, Roleplay was done on the theme “The relationship between Substance abuse and HIV /AIDS in Bharathmatha De-addiction Centre, Ariyankuppam by PG students. The target group is the substance abused persons admitted in Bharathmatha Deaddiction Centre for the treatment purpose. Around 30 persons benefited out of that. The audience gained adequate knowledge & interacted well. Mr Gopalpillai, Chairman of Bharathmatha Deaddiction centre thanked all the organizers and students.
