In commemoration of World Cancer Day, Department Of Medical Surgical Nursing organized awareness programme on 06.02.2020 at Puducherry Cancer Trust Hospital. The objective of the programme was to highlight the theme of the year “I am and I will”. Mr. Vijayanandh. M, Tutor gave a lucid health talk on overview of Cancer diseases and aspects of maintain a healthy & the required life style modification. B.Sc. (N) III year students gave Health Education regarding Testicular Self-Examination and Breast Self-Examination. Nearly 53 patients and care givers along with 15 staff attended the programme. The queries were clarified in simple terms by the faculty.
