OBJECTIVE

• The objective of Placement Cell is to provide employment opportunities and professional training to the students.
• Create awareness among students regarding available career options and help them in identifying their career objectives.
• Guide the students in developing skills and job search strategies required to achieve their career objectives.

 FUNCTIONS OF PLACEMENT CELL

• Maintaining and  updating database of students. Maintaining database of health care settings and establishing strategic links for campus recruitments.
• Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements.
• Coordinating with  health care settings to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures
• Identifying the needs and expectations of the health care settings to assist them in recruiting most suitable candidates.
• Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminarsfor students.
• Arranging periodic meetings with Human Resources Departmentof different hospitals .
• Collecting feedback from employers where our students are selected.

• Motivate the students to develop technical knowledge in terms of career planning & goal setting.

• Assist employers to achieve their hiring goals.
• Provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
• Act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
• Assist students in obtaining placement in reputed health setting.

• Organize  workshops /seminars /guest lecture for the students to improve the self confidence
• Arranging mock Interviews.
• Communicating with Alumni for available openings.
• Communicating with health care settingsfor campus interviews.
• Arranging/Conducting campus recruitment drive as well as off campus drives.

• Providing 100% placement in various multi specialty hospitals in and around India and Abroad.
• Guiding the students for Government competitive exam like RRB,MRB,MCH,AIIMS,JIPMER and ESI Examinations.
• Counseling the students regarding the updated and newly launched opportunities available in the Nursing field.
• Arranging the special class for personality and communication skills
• Guiding the students  to  prepare the personal profile
• Arranging annual placement facility in and off campus.
• Arranging for career guidance program annually.
