A career guidance program was organized by the Alumni association for the outgoing interns of Batch 2015 on 29th January 2021. Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Sri Balaji VidyapeethProf.Subhash Chandra Parija,Dean of MGMCRI Prof.Seetesh Ghose and Vice-Principal Dr.S.Padmavathi were the dignitaries of this programme.Dr.S.Padmavathi delivered the welcome address,followed by Dr.AnandrajVaithy K,Vice-president,Alumni association,MGMCRI presented recent achievements and alumni report. Prof.C.P.Ganesh Babu,Professor and Head,General Surgery delivered a talk on “Personalised Competency mapping-a MGMCRI initiative”. Honourable Vice-Chancellor,Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth,Prof.Subhash Chandra Parija delivered a keynote address on” Qualities to hone and nurture in a young doctor”. Prof.Seethesh Ghose delivered a talk on “Continous quality improvement –the focus of MGMCRI Educational Experience”.Based on the performance in exit OSCE, punctuality and department feedback during the internship training, one best outgoing intern will be selected (PRAGYA award) every year. Based on these different criteria Dr. Dhivya was selected as the best outgoing intern for the year 2020-2021 and received the Pragya medal. In the end,vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.Amrit Mishra Secretary, Alumni Association,MGMC&RI.169 outgoing interns benefitted by this program.
