A day of new beginnings where hopeful students begin to embark on a new journey towards their ambitions and dreams through prestigious institution. The students of Batch 2021 and their parents were welcomed to the college by the members of student council by giving them roses, chocolates and flash cards. The event began at 9:00 am on March 4th 2022 (Friday). The event was presided by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of SBV, Prof Subhash Chandra Parija.
The welcome address was delivered by Professor C P Ganesh Babu Vice Principal Curriculum. Followed by the welcome address we had the SBV and MGMCRI anthem. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp that signified the start of new beginnings. Professor Seetesh Ghose, Dean MGMCRI then addressed the students and informed them about the course. This was followed by a highly motivating speech from the Dean of faculty Professor N Ananthakrishnan who also delivered the Chancellor’s message and wishes to the newcomers. Then Vice Chancellor Professor Subhash Chandra Parija addressed the students and encouraged them to strive to work hard. The Registrar, Professor A R Srinivasan enthralled the audience with a wonderful song.
Vice Principal Student Affairs, Professor Padmavathi Shanmuganathan thanked the august gathering. The splendid gathering came to an end at 11:00 am.
