 
The batch of new students were welcomed to the college by the members of the student council by giving them roses, chocolates and greeting cards.
The event began at 9 am on December 5th, 2022. The programme took place in Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan hall. The parents were seated in Srinivasa Ramanujan hall and Sarojini Naidu hall. The rules and regulations of the college and hostel were informed by Prof. Padmavathi S., Vice Principal Student Affairs. After that, the inaugural ceremony started with the SBV and College anthem. The event was presided by Director C DREaMS, Prof. M Ravishankar. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Ganesh Babu C.P Vice Principal Curriculum. This was followed by the lighting of lamp that signified the start of new beginnings. Prof. S. Sowmya HOD, Pathology & MEU coordinator introduced the heads of various departments. Then the Dean Prof. Seetesh Ghose addressed the students and informed them about the course. This was followed by Vice Chancellor’s address by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija. He addressed the students and encouraged them to strive to work hard. Prof. Ravishankar then delivered our beloved Chancellor’s message to the students. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by the Vice Principal Student Affairs, Prof. Padmavathi Shanmuganathan. The splendid gathering came to an end at 11:00 am.
