DIAGKNOWSIS

In collaboration with the Scientific and Academic Forum, the Scientific Committee, Student Council had organized an intra University quiz competition – DIAGKNOWSIS on the 20th November.
• The quiz master for the event was Dr. Anujeet Paul, Ophthalmology PG.
• The topic for the quiz was all the subjects of MBBS.
• It was in teams of 4, preferably one from each year.
• The prelims was held on the 19th in a Google form and was case based diagnosis.
• There were 16 teams that took part and the top 5 were selected for stage rounds.
Finals was on the 20th and the rounds were

1. 4 pictures 1 diagnosis
2. Case based diagnosis
3. TV/Movie based
4. Radiology
5. Rapid Fire
   There were also 2 audience rounds to keep them engaged.
   Rules Round 1
   • A question with 4 pictures will be projected on screen and the team is expected to come to a diagnosis.
   • 10 marks for the correct answer
   • If a team cannot answer, it will pass one.
   • Passed question in 5 marks.
   • Time to answer is 30 seconds
   • There is no negative making.
   • Each team will get 2 self questions.
   Rules Round 2
   • Each team will be given a case history and the team is expected to come to a diagnosis
   • 10 marks for the correct answer
   • If a team cannot answer, it will be passed once.
   • Passes question is 5 marks
   • Time to answer is 1 minute
   • There is no negative marking and Each team will get 4 self questions
   Rules Round 3
   • Each team will be given a Radiology based question
   • 10 marks for the correct answer.
   • If a team cannot answer, it will be passed one
   • Passed question is 5 marks.
   • Time to answer is 30 seconds.
   • There is no negative marking.
   • Each team will get 2 self questions.
   Rules Round 4
   • Each team will be given a question and a photograph of character in a movie or a to show.
   • 10 marks for the correct answer
   • If a team cannot answer, it will be passed once.
   • Passed question is 5 marks.
   • Time to answer is 1 minute.
   • There is no negative marking
   • Each team will get 3 self questions.
   Rules Round 5
   • Each team will be asked 5 questions in 1 minute.
   • 5 marks for every correct answer.
   • There is no negative making
   • The set of questions will be based upon the number chosen by the team (1 to 10)
