ETHICON Basic Surgical skills 2017

The Department of General Surgery, MGMCRI along with Ethicon Surgicals Ltd organised a Basic Surgical Skill Workshop for the surgery postgraduates on 28^th June 2017at the D2 Lecture hall, Hospital Block from 00 AM to 4.00 PM. The Workshop was conducted by Prof.Dr.C.Subbramaniam from Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital, Annamalai University.

1. Basic Suturing Techniques.
   1. Simple Sutures
   2. Mattress Sutures
   3. Subcuticular Sutures
   4. Interrupted Sutures
   5. Continuous Sutures
2. Abdomen Exposure
   1. Abdominal Incisions
   2. Abdominal Wall Closure
3. Resection & Anastomosis with Animal Intestines performed by all participants.
4. Vascular Anastamosis
