The football team of the college were the Runner-up in the state level cricket tournament held on July 2011 at Christian medical college.
MGMCRI participated at NEXUS 2010 held at Sri ManakularVinayagar Engineering college, Pondicherry and bagged prizes for football and women-carom.
MGMCRI won table tennis team (Men) and the runners of cricket, football and badminton (Men) in the state level tournament held on March 2011 at Sri ManakularVinayagar Medical College, Pondicherry.
The State level tournament held at Sri ManakulaVinayagar Medical college, Pondicherry during march 2011. we won 1st place in Table tennis and 2nd place in cricket, football and badminton men. Shri. G. Abishekof 2008 MBBS batch was awarded as the best table tennis tournament while Shri.Sudan of 2010 MBBS batch was awarded as the best badminton player in this tournament.
The south zone level tournament The AURA’11 held at Pondicherry institute of medical sciences during the month of June-July. We bagged 1st place in football and table tennis (men).
