 National Seminar cum Workshop on Role of Yoga in Prevention, Management, and Rehabilitation of Chronic Diseases was conducted by CYTER in collaboration with the Department of Physiology, MGMCRIon 23rd June 2017. The seminar aimed at providing a holistic approach to health and well- being so that wider dissemination of information about the benefits of practicing yoga is well understood.
Eminent speakers provided insight during the scientific programme including Yogacharya Aravinda Koithyar from Bangalore. Following him was the keynote address by Dr. KK Aggarwal, National President, IMA, New Delhi. Adding to the academic feast was the talk delivered by Smt Menaka Desikachar, experts in the field of Yoga, KHYF, Chennai. The session concluded with a panel discussion by clinicians of various streams and yoga experts.
