Online National Faculty Development Programme on Plagiarism Check and Bibliographic Software

The department of Psychiatry, MGMCRI, along with Centre for Health Professions Education, SBV conducted a three-day Faculty Development Programme on “Plagiarism check and Bibliographic software.”, on 8th , 9th & 10th June 2020, in the university campus. Eminent speakers comprising of researchers and authors of scientific papers from national and international arena, delivered the scientific sessions via webinars. Around 265 delegates comprising faculty, PhD & MPhil students from Medical, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied Health Science specialties attended the conference. The program comprised of five online webinars, one online question and answer session and 2 online tutorials demonstrating different software’s used for plagiarism and reference management. The participants were able to interact with the speakers and clarify their queries at the end of the webinar. The event concluded with a feedback and valedictory session. Online reading materials were also provided to the participants before the programme and online home assignment was given via google groups to all participants. The workshop was highly appreciated by the delegates and suggested for such workshops periodically.
