The student council of MGMCRI was a part of the organizing team formed for celebrating the 72nd Republic day celebration (26th January 2021) at SBV, a celebration and commemoration of all the strides and achievements we have made as a democracy and a republic. The esteemed guest of honor of the day was the Honorable Vice Chancellor of SBV, Prof Subhash Chandra Parija. Welcome address was given by the President of Student’s council of MGMCRI, Mr. Kuralarasan. The Vice chancellor hoisted the National flag and addressed the gathering on this great occasion. He was accompanied by Registrar, Dean Research, Dean MGMCRI , Medical superintendent, MGMCRI, Principal IGIDS, Principal KGNC, Principal of AHS, Principal School of pharmacy during the flag hoisting ceremony. The students of faculty of Allied Health Sciences sung a Patriotic song following which the General Secretary of Student Council of IGIDS proposed the Vote of thanks. The program ended with the National anthem. Faculty, staff and students of SBV participated during this celebration.
