 Training program for the postgraduate students in teaching –learning methods was conducted by the Medical Education Unit of MGMCRI from 06.07.2022 to 08.07.2022 & 11.07.2022, 2 to 4 pm at B. C. Roy Hall, College Block. The training on teaching skills included principles of instructional design, domains of learning, utilizing available e-learning resources for teaching and learning, various modalities of teaching, procedural skills, microteaching and feedback. They had practice sessions on skill training as small groups at the Medical Simulation Centre, with a facilitator. At the end of the program, the checklist for microteaching was given to all the departments to conduct microteaching sessions for their postgraduates and to send the assessment report to MEU for program completion. The program was attended by 106 postgraduates. Session feedback was taken at the end of each day and program evaluation was obtained on a concluding day through Google forms. All the postgraduates opined that the program was very useful and they learned new concepts as well as looked into the other perspectives of skill teaching.
