The Vriksha medical workshop, held over three days, provided a comprehensive learning experience through its diverse clinical departments from Aug 1 to Aug 3 at MGMCRI organsied by the Student Council Batch of 2021
On August 1, the sessions covered General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, ENT, and Pediatrics. The second day, August 2, included Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, and Pulmonary Medicine. The final day, August 3, focused on Neurology and Cardiology workshops.
In addition to these clinical sessions, participants engaged in interactive activities such as case presentations and a Mediquiz, which was hosted by the quiz master, Basu Sir. This combination of in-depth medical knowledge and interactive learning made Vriksha a standout event.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Biswas, Vice Chancellor of SBV, and felicitated by Prof. Seetesh Ghose, Dean of MGMCRI. Additional dignitaries included Ms. Asha Suresh Babu, GM Admin; Prof. Karthikeyan Sir, Dean of Student Affairs at SBV; Prof. Umadevi, VP Curriculum; and Prof. Kannan R, VP Student Affairs at MGMCRI.
On the same day, the Student Magazine “Prism” was also inaugurated, adding another layer of significance to the event.
