White Coat Ceremony for the students of First MBBS 2021 Batch was conducted on 11.03.2022, Friday between 02.15 pm and 03.40pm at B C Roy Hall, Ground Floor, College Block, MGMCRI. The event started with the SBV Anthem. The parents joined through online platform. Prof. C.P. Ganesh Babu, Vice Principal (Curriculum) welcomed the gathering. This was followed by introduction of the faculty members of the Phase I departments by their respective Heads of the Departments. Prof. Seetesh Ghose, Dean, MGMCRI enlightened the fresh batch of students about the Significance of White Coat Ceremony. Prof. Robinson Smile, Emeritus Professor of General Surgery, MGMCRI, administered the Charak Shapath as per the new NMC guidelines to the new students. Prof. S.C. Parija, Hon’ble Vice – Chancellor, SBV gave a special address on this occasion. Dr. Padmavathi S., Vice Principal (Student Affairs) thanked the dignitaries, faculty, students and all the support staff for well conduct of the event. The event ended with National anthem at 3.40 pm.
