 
White Coat Ceremony for the students of First MBBS 2022 Batch was conducted on 31.12.2022, Saturday between 02.15 pm and 03.30pm at B C Roy Hall, Ground Floor, College Block, MGMCRI. The event started with the SBV Anthem and MGMCRI Anthem. The parents watched the event live at https://sbvu.ac.in/live. Prof. Chandra Philip, Head of the Department, Department of Anatomy welcomed the gathering. Following which Dr. Chandra Philip introduced all the faculty members of the Phase I departments. Prof. Ganesh Babu C.P, Vice Principal (Curriculum), MGMCRI enlightened the fresh batch of students about the Significance of White Coat Ceremony and their role in the society. Prof. Seetesh Ghose, DEAN, MGMCRI, administered the CharakShapath to the new students. Prof. S.C. Parija, Hon’ble Vice – Chancellor, SBV gave a special address on this occasion. Dr. Padmavathi S., Vice Principal (Student Affairs) thanked the dignitaries, faculty, students and all the support staff for the well conduct of the event. The event ended with the National anthem at 3.30 pm. 249 Undergraduate students attended the program.
