Purpose of the committee

• Facilitate maintenance and communication of  information in the hospital

Functions of the committee

1.  Create and administer documentation storage retrieval protection and communication of patient information(including medical records)
2. Facilitate the transition and subsequent improvement and maintenance of health care information in a digital paperless format
3. Explore, analyze and recommend the use of new processes, platform, and technology to improve information flow in the organization 
4. Create education and support for staffs and trainees to effectively and efficiently gather document retrieve use and communicate health care information
5. Create processes for effective use of health care data for teaching, training, and research
6. Facilitate the achievement of statutory and vision-based measurable in the documentation, security, and communication of patient care information
7. Facilitate the quality process of the organization in achieving quality improvement measurable and goals
8. Create policies processes and assessment methods for the achievements of these function
