ABOUT THE COURSE
B.Sc Cardiac Care Technology course is offered in MGMCRI with an intake of 12 seats. The graduates of Cardiac Care Technology form an integral part of the health care system. They develop skills to perform non-invasive cardiac tests like ECG, exercise stress test, Holter and ambulatory BP monitoring. The training programs make one competent to handle equipment, technologies, and tools in cardiac catheterization and capable of doing the regular maintenance of the equipment. They can do further specialization in cardiac catheterization and intervention, vascular technology, sonography. They are generally employed in advanced health care cardiac centre hospitals. They assist in determining underlying cardiac problems.
Following the UGC guidelines, as an innovation, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences AHS from the year 2019-20, all Undergraduate courses have been designed with the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), wherein the students, depending upon their interests and aims, can choose interdisciplinary, intra-disciplinary and skill-based courses. The choice-based credit system not only offers opportunities and avenues to learn core subjects but also exploring additional avenues of learning beyond the core subjects for the holistic development of an individual. The CBCS curriculum thus provides an opportunity for the students to choose courses from the prescribed courses comprising a core, elective/minor or skill-based courses. The CBCS will undoubtedly groom the students with the best international academic practices.

 Eligibility
Students who have passed in Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects with a good score in NEET. The candidate should be completing 17 years as on 31st Dec. Upper age Limit 35 years.
Relaxation
A relaxation of 5% in the required aggregate in Higher Secondary Examinations for this course will be given to OBC/SC/ST Candidates.
