ABOUT THE COURSE
B.Sc Accident & Emergency Care Technology is an undergraduate Allied Health Science course. This course is offered in MGMCRI which has an intake of 6 seats. This course enables the candidates to be skilled in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, transfer of critically ill, ventilation and observation of patients in casualty and emergency department. This program prepares the individuals to respond to an accident, heart attacks, childbirth, slip and fall injuries, to access, treat and manage people at emergency patient care. This course is career-oriented as it opens for many jobs after the completion of the course.
Following the UGC guidelines, as an innovation, the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences AHS from the year 2019-20, all Undergraduate courses have been designed with the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), wherein the students, depending upon their interests and aims, can choose interdisciplinary, intra-disciplinary and skill-based courses. The choice-based credit system not only offers opportunities and avenues to learn core subjects but also exploring additional avenues of learning beyond the core subjects for the holistic development of an individual. The CBCS curriculum thus provides an opportunity for the students to choose courses from the prescribed courses comprising a core, elective/minor or skill-based courses. The CBCS will undoubtedly groom the students with the best international academic practices.

Eligibility
Students who have passed in Higher Secondary with a minimum of 50% with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as subjects and with a good score in NEET are eligible to apply for this course. The candidate should be completing 17 years as on 31stDec. Upper age Limit 35 years.
Relaxation
A relaxation of 5% in the required aggregate in Higher Secondary Examinations for this course will be given to OBC/SC/ST Candidates.
