I have been in the training of 39 post graduates both masters and diploma where I have guided 21 masters in their dissertations. I am into administrative work as HOD since five and half years.

I have been trained in Orthopaedics in one of the best Institutes in India(CMC Vellore) with best teachers. I have been exposed to the field of Orthopaedics for a considerable period in Christian Medical College Hospital Vellore (2010- 2019).Exposure to a wide range of clinical scenarios has given me considerate knowledge in diagnosing clinical conditions and appropriate decision making in patient management.

 As a junior resident I have managed number of trauma patients who presented to our emergency. As a senior postgraduate during my training period, I have done all basic Orthopaedic trauma surgeries. As Assistant Professor, I have done and assisted various Orthopaedic procedures about 750+ which include trauma, arthroplasty, tumor surgeries, arthroscopy and deformity corrections.

My Professors have trained me in handling soft tissue defect management and I have done many gastrocnemius and reverse sural artery flaps.

I always try to be polite with my patients and make them feel at ease. I am empathetic in explain patients their clinical condition and involve them in making decisions in their treatment. I do take into account the socio-economic background of the patient while making the treatment plan.

 

            I have been also involved in numerous teaching sessions for undergraduate & postgraduate medical students, postgraduate nursing students and allied health science students. I have also been a part of many seminars and symposiums organized by our department. I am also doing research works and currently three of my publications are under review. I am also updating myself to the current skills and practice in my field. I have presented my research works in national conferences. My areas of interests are pelvi-acetabular trauma and arthroplasty.
