Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV) has proven its commitment to biomedical research by facilitating drug discovery and regulatory services for industrial products including preclinical R&D pharm therapeutics, biotech, natural products, agrochemical and chemical industries. SBV has entered into a multi-crore joint venture with the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India to establish a new small Animal Research Facility for Preclinical Studies and Services named “Mahatma Gandhi Medical Preclinical Research Centre” (MGMPRC), located inside SBV Campus, Pillayarkuppam, Puducherry, India.

MGMPRC is dedicated to supporting the R&D Pharma and scientific communities with high-quality data standards in Preclinical toxicology and Exploratory pharmacology.
MGMPRC is poised to serve regulatory services for the industrial and R&D needs of industries and researchers in both public and private sectors across the globe. MGMPRC’s extended research support includes end-to-end delivery of the program by providing consultancy, study designs, and the conduct of studies, as well as providing a scientific rationale for the findings of the study.
