Antibiotics in General and Periodontal Practice

The Department of Periodontology, IGIDS  conducted a lecture starting with a title “Antibiotics In General And Periodontal Practice” under ‘PERIOdontology STudents Enrichment Program Series’ on 30^th of January 2021. The Stakeholders were Final year B.D.S., Interns, M.D.S. Postgraduate Students, Faculties and Private Practitioners. A total of 108 Participants were present for the PERIOSTEP Series. The topics rendered were regarding the importance of antibiotics, its classification, advantages and disadvantages of the different composition of antibiotics, its use in general practice, use of combination of two or more antibiotics in periodontal therapy and ideal antibiotics for periodontal therapy.
