Department of Physiology, MGMCRI, SBV in association with Center for Health Professional Education, SBV organized an online faculty development program on Assessment tools of CBME curriculum from 3rd to 5th June,2020. There were 95 registrations from Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and international participants from Saudi Arabia.
Three hour online session from 10 AM to 1 PM was conducted on each day via Zoom platform. On 3rd June, The online session started with an introductory talk on CBME curriculum and importance of assessment by the organizing chairman, Prof. Jeneth Berlin Raj T. This session was continued by the session on “Purpose, types, terms & attributes of assessment tools” and “Assessment of professionalism, Feedback & MSF” by Dr. B.V. Adkoli, Director, CHPE, SBV. On day 2, the session was on assessment tools for undergraduates and postgraduates by Dr. Abishek, Associate Professor of transfusion medicine, JIPMER, Puducherry. On day 3, the session was on onlines assessment tools for undergraduates and postgraduates by Dr. Jayasree M, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology , Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College & Hospital, Puducherry.
