A Capacity Augmentation Program On Intellectual Property Rights was held on 20 July 2024, organized by the Nursing Education Unit of Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing. The program was held in the College Block, III rd Floor, MEU Hall. The program commenced at 9:00 am with the invocation of the SBV Anthem, followed by a welcome address by Mr.Snowden, Associate Professor, Member Secretary, Nursing Education Unit, SSSCON. Prof.Dr.Helen Shaji J C, Principal, Organizing Chairperson of the program, spoke on the importance of IPR. The first session was titled “Sharing Ideas and Concepts for IPR” presented by Dr. A. Julie Christy, Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy, SSSMCRI. The second session was on “Copyrightable Subject matter & Benefits of Filing” presented by Dr. Glad Mohesh, Professor, Department of Physiology, SSSMCRI. The third session was on “Roadmap to IPR and Patentable Subject matter and Benefits of Filing” which was presented by Dr. Harshavardhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis, SSSMCRI. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.Emy Jancy Rani J, Assistant Professor, Member of Nursing Education Unit of SSSCON. Ms.Angel, Nursing Tutor, SSSCON, was the Master of Ceremonies for the program. Around 21 faculties participated in this event and the program concluded by 12:30 pm with the National Anthem.
