 
In commemoration of “Children’s Day and Pedodontist Day”, the Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry conducted various events in association with SAF, IGIDS from 14th November to 2nd December 2021. Various competitions were conducted for both Postgraduates and Undergraduates of IGIDS to propose innovative methods to manage uncooperative children and to promote oral health among children respectively. Children reporting for dental check-ups & treatment from 14th to 21st November were imparted. oral health education through various activities like games, puzzles, and oral health interviews. “Crowd Awareness play” was performed at MGMCRI patient waiting for the area, Department of OG & Pediatrics on 25/11/2021 & 1/12/2022 to create awareness regarding Early Childhood Caries among the public. Various activities were organized at Vudhavi Karangal Boys Home, Nonankuppam like Treatment camp, Toothbrushing program and Oral Health Education on 2/12/202.
