CME

The Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, conducted a CME titled ARDENS UTERUM “FORENSIC GYNAECOLOGY” on 05/07/2019 at MGMCRI, Pondicherry. Target audiences were Forensic Experts, Gynaecologists, Medical Officers & Practitioners, Postgraduates in Forensic Medicine & OBG. A total of 140 registered and all 140 attended. Dr.Mahalaxmi Saravanan and Dr.Sameera are notable international speakers. We highlighted the problems faced by women in day to day life like sexual harassment, sexual assault, gender identity issues, women exploitation in name of surrogacy and female foeticide and its prevention. This CME is exclusively regarding the ethical and legal concerns in the field the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. CME was awarded with TNMC credit – 2 hours for delegates, 3 hours for speakers and SBV credit points- 5 for all participants.
