 The Department of Periodontics, IGIDS conducted a Dental Treatment camp on Irular Tribe people  on 29th December 2021 between 9 am to 2 pm. The camp was conducted with the support of 10 Interns, 6 Post graduates and 1 Faculty member. A total of 130 people were screened for oral and Periodontal health. Oral hygiene instructions and brushing technique were taught. Free medicines were given to patients when in need. Oral hygiene instruction pamphlets were distributed to all of them. Basic dental treatment and bus facility is to be made free of cost for those who required treatment in Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences.
