 The world breastfeeding week was observed by Urban Health and Training Center, Tiruporur, Department of Community Medicine, Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, Kancheepuram district, Tamilnadu. A sensitization program was conducted among Internship doctors on the title – Doctors as advocators in Breastfeeding. A health awareness talk was given on breastfeeding, advantages, and disadvantages and on the theme -Empower parents- Enable Breastfeeding. At the end of the session queries from the participants were discussed and the feedback was obtained.
