 The Induction program was conducted for the 4th batch of B.Sc. Nursing Students of Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing on 23/09/2022. The aim of the program was to ensure that every student warmly welcomed and encouraged as they embark on new journey in Nursing, on the path to becoming a Registered Nurse. The program began with invocation of SBV anthem followed by a welcome address delivered by Prof. Dr.J.C. Helan Shaji, Principal, Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing. The program was inaugurated with the dignitaries lighting the traditional lamp; continued with the speech on SSSCON at a Glance a presentation about the College given by Vice Principal, Prof. A. L. Mahalakshmi. Prof. Helen Shaji J.C. Principal, introduced the HOD’s all Department and Faculties of Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing. Dean, Prof. Sukumaran Annamalai, Felicitated the freshers with encouraging words. On behalf of Smt. Gowri Rajagopalan, Honorable Chairperson of SSSMCRI, Dean, Prof. Sukumaran Annamalai, presented the Admit Card to the students and felicitated the freshers. Parents and Student gave heartwarming talk about Institution. Keynote address virtually presented by Prof. Subhash Chandra Parija, Honorable vice chancellor, SBV. The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. J. Emy Jancy Rani, Department of Community Health Nursing and Class coordinator of I Year, and the whole program anchoring was handled by Mr. Snowden, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing continued with the benediction of National Anthem and finally concluded the program with a high tea.
