In celebration of National Science Day 2025, the Scientific Academic Forum of the School of Pharmacy, SBV, Pondicherry Campus has organized a Quiz and Painting Competition for B.Pharm students. The Quiz saw 39 participants, who were divided into 13 teams, with 4 teams advancing to the finals held on 28-02-2025. The winners of the quiz were Swedha J., Varsha U., and Pavithra B. from second-year B.Pharmacy, and the runners-up were Harish T., Jagan J., and Dhanaseelan K. K. from final-year B.Pharmacy. For the painting competition, Dr. S. Padmavathi, Professor at MGMCRI, SBV, was invited as the judge. Students were given three themes to choose from: ‘Innovations in Medicine: From Lab to Life,’ ‘Science: The Bridge between Past and Future,’ and ‘Science vs. Disease: The Battle for Humanity.’ Janani B. from third-year B.Pharmacy has won first place, followed by Swedha J. in second and Ranjitha G. in third. Winners were awarded certificates and medals, making the event a great success in showcasing students’ scientific knowledge and creativity.
