SBV-MIPTECH organized a national level faculty development program on Health Care Intellectual Property Rights- A foundation course on June 9th, 10th, 11th. On day one,Dr. M. Senthil, president SBVinnovation café, president institute innovation council , Member secretary SBV MIPTECHhad given lecture on “Need for innovation and over view intellectual property right in India”. On day two, Dr. Deepa Boppana, Founder Director intellpet Chennai, presented lecture on “Patentable subject Matter, Benefits of filing patent, Patent filing procedure including international and national filing, Tools for patent searching and search strategy” . On day three, Dr. David Livingstone, Professor, Department of Prosthodontics, Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences,Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, had given lecture on Copy right subject Matter, Benefits of filing copyright, copyright filing procedure and Tools for copyright searching and search strategy”. Around 133 participants all over the nation had gained knowledge through this program. After each session assignments were given to the participants as case scenarios and discussed on the next day. All the participants showed great enthusiasm and given positive feedback about the program.
