SBV MIPTECH is happy to inform that in the 2nd International Health Research Convention, we have signed an MOU with SCTIMST-TIMed – Technology Business Incubator by Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology an Institute of National importance for Biomedical product development and Launched a Bio Medical Product

Salient Features of the MOU

a. TIPS@TIMed may conduct focused awareness sessions, webinars, training programs, workshops etc. on IPR and Technology Transfer aspects to benefit the faculty, students, entrepreneurs, startups, staff of the constituent colleges and centers of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Deemed to be University from time to time.

b. SCTIMST-TIMed may provide specific services such as patent search reports, patentability reports, patent drafting support, advisory on patent filing, novelty search reports etc.

c. Guidance to researchers, startups, and students on patenting/commercialization strategy.

d. Guidance on the valuation of IPR.

e. Industry partner scouting and reaching out to potential partners.

f. Negotiating and drafting Technology Transfer agreements between industry and academia.

g. Overall Facilitation of linkages between academia and industry. Support and foster new ventures like starts, spin-offs etc.

i. Developing Institutional policy framework

j. Develop and facilitate the execution of sponsored / contract research with other research institution/industry

k. Guidance on non-disclosure agreements/material transfer agreements.

BioMedical Product Launch

Team Oral & Maxillo Facial Surgery, IGIDS has launched its first commercialized biomedical product “Trio Needle Holder” a patent product of SBV developed by Wilson & Wilson, Bangalore during the 2nd IHRC

FIELD OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention relates to the field of surgical instruments. More particularly the present invention relates to a versatile Trio Needle Holder for multi-instrumentation comprising of suturing, holding mini plates, and driving mini plates.
