 
Members of the Yoga Community of Pondicherry honored Thiru ST Chidambaram, Senior Manager, Tourism Department, Govt. of Puducherry with the “Yoga Sevaka Award” in recognition of his yeomen services for the cause of Yoga over the past three decades.
His significant contributions to the International Yoga Festival held annually since 1993 by the Government of Puducherry were applauded by all. He was honored during the SBV Yoga Fest 2022 event organized by the Centre for Yoga Therapy Education and Research (CYTER) of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth on 31st May 2022.
The Dean of Faculty Prof N Ananthakrishnan, Registrar Prof AR Srinivasan, and Director CYTER Prof Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani felicitated. More than 165 students participated in the Regional Level Yogasana competitions on the occasion. Jury members of Siddharboomi Puducherry Yogasana Sports Association (SPYSA) participated actively.
Senior Vice President, SPYSA Thiru E Gajendiran, Vice President, Smt Devasena Bhavanani, Treasurer, Thiru Shanmugam C, Joint Secretary Thiru Satish Kumar, and Senior Members including Thiru Senthil Kumar, Thirumathy Lalitha Shanmugam, and Thiru S Govindarajan were honored.
The event was coordinated by organizing secretary Yogachemmel G Dayanidy, Assistant Professor of Yoga therapy at CYTER.
