 SBV has hosted a meeting of experts during the ‘International Health Research Convention’ which held during July 2019 on DIAGNOSIS of SCRUB TYPHUS during which the panel of nine experts has formulated a broad guidelines for the laboratory diagnosis of Scrub typhus and brought out the “Pondicherry Declaration on Scrub Typhus Diagnosis -2019“. The recommendations were submitted to the Department of Health Research of the ICMR for the benefit of the community.
