Institutional IQAC, School of Pharmacy, SBV University organized an online Zoom webinar that was held from 02.30 PM to 03.30 PM and had participants from both internal and external institutions. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. V. E. Ida Christi, Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy, PSG College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore. Dr. Christi has extensive experience in the field of pharmacognosy and is known for her research on natural products and their therapeutic potential. Dr. Christi highlighted the importance of amino acids as nerve transmitters in the human body. She explained the various functions of amino acids, including their role in neurotransmission and as precursors for the synthesis of other important molecules in the body. The webinar was interactive with participants engaging in discussions providing insights into the subject matter.
