 
In commemoration of “World Autism Awareness Day” on April 2nd 2021, the Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, IGIDS, organized an Oral health education program at Global Trust School for Differently Abled Children, Cuddalore. Posters demonstrating the different positions in which the special children could be held/restrained to brush their teeth by the parents were handed over to the school headmaster. live demonstration of positions of toothbrushing imparting oral hygiene instruction was carried out. Video demonstration of brushing technique was done and in order to emphasize the mandatory wearing of a mask a mask-wear campaign was conducted by the distribution of masks to children, teachers, and parents/caretakers.
