 
World Breast Cancer Awareness month was commemorated by Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing at Urban Health Centre, Thiruporur on 21.10.2021. The program was organized by Prof.Dr. HelenShaji.J.C, Principal Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing, and the event was coordinated by Mrs.R.Golda Sahaya Rani Professor and Ms.Sharmila Nursing Tutor, Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing. The aim of the program was to create awareness about the importance of screening Breast Cancer among the general population (Women).
The awareness program was started at 10.30 am, Ms.Sharmila Nursing Tutor, SSSCON welcomed the gathering followed by the Second Year B.sc Nursing students depicted a Health Talk to sensitize the public on the various aspects of Breast Cancer like causes, symptoms, screening tests, treatment, Early detection, and prevention. Finally, Ms.Sharmila Nursing Tutor, Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing has summarized the Health talk. Around 20 people attended the program and their feedback about the program was good. The program ended at 11:30 am.
