In commemoration of World Kidney Day, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing organized awareness programme on 11.03.2021 at PHC-Kirumampakkam, Puducherry. The objective of the programme was to highlight the theme of the year “Living Well with Kidney Disease”. Mr. Vijayanandh. M, Tutor, gave a lucid health talk on overview of kidney disease and preventive measure for kidney disease, life style modification and dietary management of patient with kidney disease. The Audio CD launch, was done by Dr.D.Narayanan M.D. General Duty Medical Officer in PHC-Kirumampakkam, Puducherry and same carried in Dialysis Unit MGMCRI, Puducherry at 11.30 AM to 12.30 PM. The audio was sent to the patient through what’s app as audio file. Total 102 general public along with 15 staffs attended the programme. The queries were clarified in simple terms by the faculty. Feedback were obtained from the participants.
