World Mental Health Day was commemorated by Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing at Rural Health Centre, Sembakkam on 12.10.2021. The program was organized by organizing chairperson Dr.Helen Shaji. J.C, Principal Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing, organizing secretary Ms.Jothimani, Nursing Tutor, Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing. The theme of this year is “Mental Health Is An Unequal World”. The aim of the program was to create awareness among the public. The Mental Health Day awareness program was started at 10.30 am Mrs.S.Jothimani, Nursing Tutor, SSSCON welcomed the gathering followed by the First Year B.sc Nursing students depicted a Skit to sensitize the public on the Importance of mental health, causes, social stigma, and care of mentally ill persons. Mr.Dinesh, Nursing Tutor, delivered the vote of thanks. Around 40 people attended the program and they gave good feedback about the program, and the program ended at 11:30 am.
