World No tobacco day was commemorated at Shri Sathya Sai College of Nursing on 31st May 2021. We conducted an online E-poster competition for our students which was evaluated by the judges Dr Helen Shaji J.C, Principal, SSSCON & Dr Karthika Jayakumar, HOD of Microbiology Department of SSSMCRI. All the first year & second-year students attended. Around 10 participants enthusiastically presented their views in a creative way in their e-poster on the World No tobacco day 2021 theme “Commit to Quit”. The event was coordinated by A.L Mahalakshmi, Vice Principal. After the evaluation by the judges, the best 3 E-posters were selected and their names are as follows; First Prize: Ms . Dhivyabharathi, I Yr B.sc Nursing Second Year: Mr Sreeraj T, II Yr B.sc Nursing & Third Prize: Mr Kiran Baby Varghese, II Yr B.sc Nursing, SSSCON. After the feedback session, the programme came to an end.
