A Student Enrichment Program was jointly organized by Faculty of Allied Health Science (AHS) and Centre for Yoga Therapy Education and Research (CYTER) of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Pondicherry from 8th to 12th February 2021. A combined initiative by Dr. A. N. Uma, Principal of AHS and Dr. Meena Ramanathan, Deputy Director of CYTER. A total of 250 AHS first &second year students attended this program in batches. The program focused on improving Physical and Mental Wellbeing through Yogic Practices – a Salutogenic approach. The program included Yogasanas, Yogic Breathing Practices and Relaxation practices. The participants were also educated on Mental health and Stress Management. The sessions were conducted by Mr Sushant Singh and Ms Garima Setia (PhD Scholars in Yoga Therapy at CYTER) under the guidance of Dr AnandaBalayogiBhavanani, Director of CYTER.
