About SoP
School of Pharmacy (SoP), Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University (SBVU), Chennai, Founded in 2025, offers a top-tier professional education program that culminates in a four-year undergraduate degree (B.Pharm). The first year began in 2025 in accordance with PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) rules and regulations, with a total of 60 seats allocated. For lateral entry students, the B.Pharm program will last six semesters (three academic years) and eight semesters (four academic years) for B.Pharm students. The Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, will periodically prescribe the program’s curricula and syllabi. This course’s goals are to offer a first-rate educational setting and a comprehensive curriculum created by the Pharmacy Council.

- To train pharmacy students using student-centered teaching and learning procedures in order to achieve the important principles outlined in industrial research and in accordance with social requirements

I am delighted and privileged to serve as the principal of the School of Pharmacy, Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and research institute. Education is a team effort involving committed faculty, motivated students, and loving parent that makes it possible to produce admirable future leaders. The appropriate curriculums of school of pharmacy in accordance with PCI for pharmacy students provides for the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development the learner. Students are encouraged to develop critical thinking skills, learn by reason and inquiry, share ideas, and set objectives to reach their own potential via our standard academic programs, committed faculty, and cutting edge teaching approaches. Through the correlations of freedom and responsibility, we strive to create an environment that is essentially consecrated, with a disciplined and supportive agenda and a liberty that helps pupils develop self-confidence.
