BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (BPT)
An undergraduate program in Physiotherapy aims to impart in-depth knowledge and skills to students, enabling them to become proficient in physical diagnosis techniques and fostering the right attitude towards the practice of physiotherapy and patient treatment.
Duration: 4 years course + 6 months Internship
Annual Intake: 40
Eligibility: HSC Examination (Academic Stream) of 10+2 curriculum / CBSE / ISC Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Botany and Zoology.
Upon completing the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program, students will:
- Acquire the ability to critically evaluate and apply evidence-based practices in Physiotherapy.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients on treatment plans.
- Develop competency in conducting thorough patient assessments, formulating tailored treatment plans, and monitoring progress towards rehabilitation goals.
- Acquire essential knowledge and skills in preventive care, promoting health and wellness among individuals and communities.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in all aspects of physiotherapy practice, upholding the highest standards of integrity and patient-centered care.
MASTER IN PHYSIOTHERAPY (MPT)
Duration: 2 years
Annual intake: 03 (Each Speciality)
Eligibility: Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree certificate with 4 and 1/2 years duration (including 6 months of internship) from any university through full-time contact program or equivalent degree from any other recognized university from India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50 % of marks in aggregate

Upon completion of the Master of Physiotherapy program, postgraduate students will:
- Showcase proficiency in teaching, management, research, guidance, and counselling.
- Utilize advanced clinical science knowledge for effective problem-solving.
- Design, execute, and oversee tailored therapeutic programs.
- Apply scientific principles to understand health, illness, and disability concepts.
- Assess the social and political dimensions of healthcare.
- Conduct independent research projects.
