Teaching and learning
Physiotherapy involves the application of physical methods such as exercise, massage, and manipulation to help restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness, or disability.
In teaching physiotherapy, understanding anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic techniques is crucial. Learning in physiotherapy involves hands-on practice, patient interaction, and staying updated with advancements in rehabilitation science. Effective teaching emphasizes practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge to prepare students for diverse clinical challenges in healthcare settings.
Lectures will use various tools such as whiteboard and marker, human, skeletal, and various joint models for hands-on practice and as well as modern resources such as PowerPoint presentations with LCD projectors with high-speed internet.
We have created a robust Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate efficient learning by giving access to course materials, assignments, and resources required for physiotherapy education.
Our staff members use teaching and learning methodologies that appeal to a variety of learning styles, promoting scientific reasoning, communication skills, problem-solving ability, critical thinking, and self-directed learning in our students.
