Dr.Vijayan, Associate Professor has received SBV Seed money grant for the research of ‘Formulation and evaluation of Remdesivir mucoadhesive chitosan-PLGA nanoparticle for treatment of Covid-19 by inhalation technique’

The department partners with various other Institutes/departments/industry for research activities. Collaborations have resulted in the following research activities:

School of Pharmacy has step into international consultancy project with Elive Biotherapeutics, USA. Project of Delivery of E-coli Nissle to lungs by suitable Nano formulations. Dr.Vijayan, Associate Professor, SOP, Prof. S.R.Rao, Vice President, Research, Innovation and Development and Prof. Sarath Chandiran, Principal, School of Pharmacy, SBV were involved in the project.

Prof. Sarath Chandiran, Principal, School of pharmacy has signed consultancy collaboration with Prosilico Pharmaceuticals, Pondicherry for Analytical method development of Pharmaceuticals drugs.
