This has resulted in dissemination of new knowledge in the form of several noteworthy publications including:

S.G.Raman, Associate Professor, School of Pharmacy along with co-authors Dr.D.Saravanan, Dr.T.Venkatachalam published the text book entitled “Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry -III” B.Pharm, IV semester (According to the syllabus based on Pharmacy Council of India) Rubatosis Book Publications India (Pvt) Ltd, Hyderabad. ISBN: 978-81-938916-4-3 on 27th July 2020.

  2. G.RAMAN had published a book entitled “Pharmaceutical Analysis-I”. Rubatosis Innovations India (Pvt) Ltd, Hyderabad. (ISBN: 978-81-953704-2-9). The book has framed for Pharmacy students to easy understanding.

  3. N.Selvasudha has published a book chapter titled “Smart antimicrobial textiles for healthcare professionals and individuals. In Antimicrobial Textiles from Natural Resources”. Edited by. Ibrahim H. Mondal. Woodhead Publishing (imprint of Elsevier), 2021.

  • I.Sarath Chandiran has received patent on Artificial Neural Network Based Early Diagnostic of health deterioration  in Indian Patent Application No: 202141026169A  dated 02.07.2021

  • K.Karthikeyan has published patent on topic “Nanoparticulate formulation for diagnosis and/or treatment of cancer” Indian Patent, Patent Application number: 202141047416 published on 05th November 2021.

Dr.Vijayan, Associate Professor has received SBV Seed money grant for the research of ‘Formulation and evaluation of Remdesivir mucoadhesive chitosan-PLGA nanoparticle for treatment of Covid-19 by inhalation technique’

Research collaborations and consultancy:

The department partners with various other Institutes/departments/industry for research activities. Collaborations have resulted in the following research activities:

School of Pharmacy has step into international consultancy project with Elive Biotherapeutics, USA. Project of Delivery of E-coli Nissle to lungs by suitable Nano formulations. Dr.Vijayan, Associate Professor, SOP, Prof. S.R.Rao, Vice President, Research, Innovation and Development and Prof. Sarath Chandiran, Principal, School of Pharmacy, SBV were involved in the project.

Prof. Sarath Chandiran, Principal, School of pharmacy has signed consultancy collaboration with Prosilico Pharmaceuticals, Pondicherry for Analytical method development of Pharmaceuticals drugs.
