ABOUT THE COURSE
M.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology in clinical chemistry course is offered by MGMCRI with an intake of 7 seats. The duration of the course is of two years. M.Sc. MLT in Clinical Chemistry was started in the year 2015. This provides an opportunity for specialized study in the field of Laboratory Technology for training candidates will be trained to acquire the knowledge and apply the concepts, theories and principles of laboratory science in their profession to bring about an effective change in the laboratory practice and health care delivery system, establish collaborative relationship with members of other disciplines and to demonstrate interest in continued learning and research for personal and professional advancement.
A clinical chemist uses the knowledge of chemistry to evaluate patient health. He/she may evaluate blood, study DNA, examine tissues, or study cells, involve in research to develop diagnostic products. They are generally employed in laboratories as assistant, technicians, technologists, specialists and doctoral scientist can work in clinical laboratories, in research, in pharmaceutical companies and in industry. Greater opportunities are available to work in government regulatory agencies.

Eligibility
Candidates with B.Sc. – MLT degree B.Sc. (Biochemistry) B.Sc (Microbiology) from a recognized University at least with 50% Marks are eligible to apply for this course.
