About
Medical research drive the innovations in healthcare sectors and make ways for developing new medicines or medical procedures or improving the application of those already available. Distributed across the basic, preclinical (for example, in cellular systems and animal models) and clinical research (for example, clinical trials), the scope and operations of medical research is largely focused on dealing with high-risk pathogens, animals and humans and even genetically modified organisms.
As such, medical research is strictly regulated across globe and India is no exception. Depending on the nature of experiment, and the extent of risks and ethical issues involved, multiple regulatory agencies operates at institution to national levels and mandates compliances to those before an experiment. Therefore, it is must for every researcher to have through understanding on how to: (a) conduct safe, secure and ethically sound experiments; (b) determine the appropriate regulatory agency; (c) apply and obtain approval from the regulatory agency and so on.
To sail smooth across these regulatory checkpoints, this workshop has been planned. Through expert talk and hands on demonstration, the workshop will train participants on dealing with regulatory agencies; conduct their research in compliance with prevailing regulations. It will build their confidence in the application submission process.
If you are working in medical research, the workshop will be the answer to all your regulation related queries. Join the event, connect with national experts and develop clear understanding on the process. Let’s learn and build the confidence together.
