Based on doctoral research done at SBV during 2015-‘19, which had shown an 8-fold improvement in patient satisfaction when health professionals were trained in communication skills, SBV has taken up imparting health professions communication skills to the students and to the educators. The same topics which were used to train the research subjects make up the content for the certificate course.
