Department of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery, IGIDS, organized a hands-on workshop in “B2B basics to basal implantology” on 20th & 21st September 2019 at MGMCRI campus. The resource persons were Dr.M.Alaguvelrajan, Dr.A.Arul Prakash, Dr.J.Deepak and Dr.S.M.Abdul Rahman. There were four scientific sessions followed by a demonstration of basal implant placement by the resource persons. During the hands-on session, the participants were allocated into convenient groups and were given HANDS-ON experience in dummy maxillary and mandibular models. The participants were from Chennai, Vellore, Trivandrum and Trichy etc. Online feedback was obtained and analyzed. Overall, the feedback was “The workshop benefited them considerably”.
